The Roschelle T. Woyee Scholarship Program

Ms. Roschelle T. Woyee, was shot and killed due to Domestic Violence by her Ex-Boyfriend, the Father of her then, 1-Year-Old Daughter. Ms. Roschelle, was murdered at the tender age of 19-Years-Old in 2008 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Ms. Roschelle, attended a local Community College in Charlotte, NC studying to become a Nurse. This scholarship program, was established to encourage both Men and Women who have been exposed to Domestic Violence in any ways, to keep striving for the best. We, here at the Robynn And Alizah Kollie Foundation, want the best for our survivors and their families to maintain a healthy and Blessed life; while accomplishing their educational goal(s).


About The Scholarship Program

The Roschelle T. Woyee Scholarship Program is geared towards providing academic and finical support to: Domestic and Sexual Violence Survivors and their Child or, Children.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Is based on Academic performance, Leadership potential, and Financial need.

SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS: The Roschelle Woyee Scholarship awards qualified recipients such as: Survivors of Domestic and Sexual Violence, or their children. We, require that academic scholarship recipients to hold a 3.0 GPA to apply for our scholarship.

The Support A Child Sponsorship Program

As a sponsor to the “Support A Child in Africa Sponsorship Program”, you will have the options of making a donation in the amounts of $25.00 per month or, $300.00 for a 1-year support to one of our program recipients that you have pledge to sponsor, monthly. Moreover, your monthly contributions will aid in providing the basic necessities such as food, and other school resources. 

  1. Match with a Recipient

A few weeks after you have signed up to become a sponsor, you will be matched with a recipient.

  1. Receive Regular Updates

When you sign up to be a sponsor, we will send you a “Welcome Packet”, containing information about your recipient, He/She age, and their hopes for the future. As your recipient proceeds through the program, you will receive regular updates by way of an E-mail about He/She progress and what He/She has been learning.

  1. Exchange Letters

Imaginably so, the most pleasing aspect of our “ Support A Child In Africa” program is, the opportunity for sponsors to effectively communicate with the recipient(s) by way of, E-mails, Letters, or Phone Calls. This is highly encourage because, our recipients greatly appreciates such relation, and they also treasure those words of encouragements from their sponsors.

4. Sponsors Payment Options

Monthly Payment of: $25.00 OR $300.00 for a One year support.
